Hindley – Sacred Heart

Swan Lane, Hindley, Wigan WN2

A modest interwar church-hall, of little heritage significance.

The building was apparently opened in about 1932 as a church-cum-hall, and served from St Benedict’s, the main church in Hindley. It is a plain design, built of red brick under a pitched Welsh slate roof. Interior not inspected.
