Burwash, St Anne’s Green, East Sussex
A simple brick church built in the late 1960s with apsed sanctuary with circular top light and lined internally with raised profile concrete block.
Continuous clerestory with dalles de verre type glass in abstract patterns and bright colours. West window Christ in majesty, again bright colours and rather naively done. The glass was apparently made by the monks at Buckfast Abbey.
A modest and homely building. The stained glass is interesting in its form but is itself undistinguished.
