A small plain post-war church with some later additions. 

The parish was founded in 1950 when a resident priest was appointed, who said Mass in Whoberley Council School. In 1952 a church hall was built in Tile Hill Lane. This was replaced in 1957 by the current church, built by W. H. Saunders & Son. The church was later extended to provide a narthex, a porch, and two side chapels.

Description

The church was built in 1957. Originally a plain rectangular brick building with a narrower chancel, it was later extended with a narthex, an open porch, and two side chapels to the north. To the north of the nave is the Lady Chapel, while further east is the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The west elevation of the narthex has a central niche with a statue of the Virgin Mary and the dedication of the church engraved on slate panels above. The five-bay nave has a canted tiled suspended ceiling, while the two side chapels have flat ceilings. The nave windows have stained glass by John Bradley (2001-2) on the theme of the Seven Sacraments. The Stations of the Cross are painted plaster casts. Owing to Lent, all the statues were shrouded during the visit.
