A modest early twentieth-century church with later additions and some internal furnishings of note.
The church was built in 1922 (foundation stone). Single space with transepts added c1975. Wide and low building faced in pebbledash, simple Gothic windows with hood moulds. Slate roofs. Transept extensions to form T-plan and further single storey flat roof extension on south side c1975. C19 marble altar with carvings of Annunciation etc – ex situ. C19/early C20 pews in the nave, reused; modern pews to transepts, Stained glass windows (of 1920s?) at E end and of 1978 at the west end. Attached modern sculpture (of Our Lady?) on S transept gable wall.
