A utilitarian design of church of the 1980s, not of special architectural or historic note.
The church was built primarily to serve the Sale West housing estate and opened in 1983. It is dedicated to St Margaret Ward, the Cheshire martyr who was canonised in 1970. The church is served from All Saints, Sale. The building is part of a primary school and integral to the structure of the school building. The liturgical west side takes the form of a box with the upper parts of the walls of squares of coloured glass; the east end is within the school building. Externally it has a fairly jolly appearance, suited to its school setting, internally it is without interest.
